Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a CT Technologist for full-time or part-time contract roles across New York City. The position offers $65-$70/hour with flexible hours, supporting a busy, high-volume imaging team in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.

Ideal candidates have ARRT CT certification, NY licensure, and at least 1 year of CT experience, plus BLS. You will perform diagnostic CT exams, educate patients, ensure safety, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to deliver excellent

Qualifications

Must hold ARRT CT certification and NY license.
Minimum 1 year CT experience.
BLS certification required.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic CT examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures.
Operate and maintain CT equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards.
Ensure accurate patient identification and proper image documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals to provide efficient patient care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized imaging environment.
Follow facility policies and quality assurance guidelines while providing compassionate patient care.
