Job summary

The CT Technologist position in Ithaca, NY supports days/evenings FLEX schedule at a medical center. You will perform CT exams including biopsies and Interventional CT, uphold radiation safety, and provide high quality patient care while collaborating with staff.

ARRT CT certification and NYS licensure are desired; associates degree in Radiologic Sciences is required; two years' experience preferred or welcoming new graduates.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• ARRT CT Certification preferred; must become certified within 1 year if not currently certified.
• New graduates welcomed; two years' experience preferred.
• NYS license for diagnostic imaging with enhanced NYS license for injection by end of introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Perform a multitude of CT exams including biopsies and interventional CT.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality patient care.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Demonstrate teamwork and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
