Job summary

Envision Imaging in Plano, TX is seeking a full-time CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams, adjust equipment settings, and position patients for high-quality images. The role collaborates with radiologists and requires strong attention to detail and patient education.

The position emphasizes safety, PPE use, and timely image transfer while supporting department protocols in a controlled outpatient setting. ARRT CT and radiography credentials are required or in process.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ CT experience (preferred).
• Two plus years’ X-Ray experience (preferred).
• Educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver and team player.
• Navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Excel in a very fast-paced team environment.
• Strive to exceed company and customer expectations.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provide procedure instructions.
• Reviews patient charts for missing information and implants or allergies.
• Obtains prior films/exams and performs high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Attends to patient before, during, and after exams and notifies changes in condition.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment; reports quality concerns or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager on departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
