Job summary

Adventist Health Delano is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. You may perform general radiography and fluoroscopy and ensure image integrity and patient confidentiality.

The role requires ARRT CT certification or R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) with CA license, BLS, and CT certification where applicable. Experience with PACS and teleradiology is a plus. This is a night shift position in Delano, CA.

Qualifications

• Registered by the ARRT: RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) ARRRT is required.
• CA Radiologic Tech license required in the state of practice.
• Advanced CT certification preferred in some states.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy Equipment.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains records, files and billing information; ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment; manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
