Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist South. This is a Full-Time Evenings opportunity working Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for procedures which include

Qualifications

• 1-2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions
