Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist for the Evening shift. Responsibilities include performing CT exams (including angiography) and ensuring patient safety during CT contrast administration.

The candidate should have ARRT CT Registry and be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum qualifications include 1 year of CAT Scan experience and state licensure as Radiographer; registry-eligible candidates have up to one year from hire date to obtain

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry preferred; must be graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year experience in CAT Scan technologist capacity preferred.
• State licensure as Radiographer; registry eligible may have 1 year from date of hire to provide licensure evidence.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAT scan examinations including angiography.
• Select imaging techniques using appropriate software/hardware.
• Maintain radiation safety & infection control policies per department and hospital.
• Assess patient condition and perform CT contrast injections with patient safety in mind.
• Review each examination for technical accuracy and present completed exams to radiologist.
