Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist for our free-standing ER, working day shifts to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will perform CT scans following established protocols, ensure accurate image acquisition, and prioritize radiation safety and patient comfort.

In this fast-paced ER environment, you’ll collaborate closely with physicians and nurses, assist with emergency cases, maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, and document in PACS/EMR systems.

Qualifications

• CT technologist with proficiency in CT imaging protocols and patient positioning.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and dose optimization.
• Excellent patient care and communication to reassure and comfort patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans following established protocols.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and quality.
• Prioritize radiation safety and patient comfort during imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses in the ER setting.
• Assist with emergency cases requiring CT imaging.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to minimize downtime.
• Document procedures and results in PACS/EMR systems.
