Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a variety of CT scans for patients of all ages. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and coordination with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, reviewing orders, and maintaining patient safety and comfort, with on-call nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. ARRT CT certification or progress toward it is required.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT CT Certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Current ARRT and OBMI.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Image Wisely pledge certificate within 30 days and yearly thereafter.
• Image Gently pledge certificate within 30 days and yearly thereafter.
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic CT exams with established standards and practices.
• Adjusts and operates CT equipment to scan designated anatomical areas.
• Reviews physician orders and protocols.
• Positions, transfers and immobilizes patients as required.
• Performs safe IV injections and monitors IVs.
• Reviews and evaluates completed exams for quality and completeness.
