Job summary

Mercy is seeking a CT technologist to provide diagnostic CT scans for radiologists and physicians during interventional procedures. The role supports the CT team, ensures patient care, and adheres to radiation safety standards.

The ideal candidate has an accredited radiography program and ARRT certification or eligibility, with 1+ year of radiology experience or a bachelor's degree. State licensure requirements may apply depending on location and scope.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited Radiography program completed.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Experience: 1+ year in radiology or graduate of Bachelor's degree program.
• Certifications: ARRT registered or registry eligible; ARRT achieved within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologist or performing physician during interventional and special procedures.
• Assist radiologist in the performance of CT procedures and provide patient care.
• Be on call if needed and apply principles of radiation safety.
• Organize the daily schedule and be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift.
