Job summary

Adventist Health Simi Valley seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation.

You will perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed, maintain patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and participate in routine equipment maintenance and calibration, while using PACS and teleradiology to transfer images.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT RT (R)(CT) or RT (R) license required.
• CA Radiologic Tech license required.
• CT advanced certification preferred (CA: preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.
• Assesses and cares for patients from adolescence through geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Operates CT equipment and performs general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Maintains accurate records and HIPAA-compliant patient information.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
