Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a CT Technologist in Newark to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging under radiologist supervision. You will prepare patients, administer contrast dye when indicated, and ensure safety and efficiency during procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CT certification, NJ license, and prior CT experience; this is a union, day-shift, hourly position at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center with focus on patient care and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by ARRT with CT Certification.
• NJ License required.
• Previous CT experience required.
• BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient condition and age to apply proper technique.
• Assist radiologist in radiographic procedures.
• Prepare patient and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Operate RIS to manage cases and document progress.
• Maintain room readiness and supply stock.
