Qualifications

• Performs a variety of general imaging procedures.
• Maintains patient safety protocols.
• Assists Radiologists with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review imaging orders to determine exam type and views needed.
• Operate imaging equipment with proper technique and patient positioning.
• Operate and troubleshoot scanner; prepare and operate contrast injector.
• Greet patients; confirm identifications and explain procedures to patient/family.
• Perform quality assurance testing per department protocols.
• Effectively operate RIS and PACs systems in daily workflow.
• Respond to emergency situations according to department policies.
• Monitors patient status, tolerance and wellbeing during and after the study.
