Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia is seeking a CT Technologist for a part-time, rotating-shift role. You will perform diagnostic CT procedures, maintain patient safety, and support radiology operations under physician supervision.

Requirements include ARRT registration, CT certification (or within one year), BCLS, and experience as a radiologic technologist. On-call coverage and patient care responsibilities are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Radiology Technology program.
• Registered in good standing with ARRT.
• Current CT certification or complete within one year of hire.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• ARRT certification with two years as a registered technologist preferred.
• CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes worksheets, patient records and documentation; processes scans.
• Assists Radiologist in complex sterile diagnostic procedures.
• Administers IV contrast media and monitors for reactions.
• Performs a wide range of CT procedures; operates CT equipment, power injectors, PACS and RIS.
• Assists physician in procedures in the procedure room.
• Maintains professional relationships to ensure quality of care.
• Provides on-call coverage in the CT area.
• Performs general nursing duties if needed.
• Handles clerical tasks for patient charts, radiology files and image processing.
• Complies with applicable laws, policies and Ethics standards.
