Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will verify orders, identify patients, and follow department protocols to deliver accurate results.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, use AIDET to communicate with patients, and maintain equipment and procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting within Wellstar's imaging department.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology program from an accredited school.
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications required.
• BLS/ARC-BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic exams as directed.
• Verify patient identity and proper markers.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and ready for use.
