Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a CT Technologist to perform examinations at a professional level in Enid, OK. You will communicate with radiologists and imaging staff to ensure optimal protocols and minimal radiation exposure while supporting a busy radiology department.

The role requires ARRT registration or registry eligibility, CT certification within one year, and at least two years of x-ray tech experience; BLS within six months. Call is required.

Qualifications

• Registered by ARRT or registry eligible; CT cert required within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum two years as a registered x-ray tech; CT experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; basic computer skills.
• Must complete pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT exams professionally with high-quality images.
• Maintains scheduled workload and handles adds-on requests.
• Ensures radiation safety for self, coworkers, patients, and visitors.
• Documents and records information in PACS and Cerner Radnet.
• Provides patient history to Radiologists and enters in PACS.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Performs CT examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Communicates with radiologists and special imaging coordinator for exam protocols. Maintains optimal patient images with as minimal as possible radiation exposure through review of techniques/protocols and monitoring of radiation dosage. Call is required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs all CT exams in a professional manner obtaining consistently high-quality images.
• Maintains scheduled workload while accommodating adds on requests.
• Ensures radiation safety protection for self, co-workers, patients, physicians and visitors.
• Documents and records information required on Images in PACS, and Cerner Radnet system.
• Provides appropriate patient history to Radiologists and enters this information into PACS.
