This position involves administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, and research procedures, utilizing advanced digital imaging systems. The technologist assists radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures, ensuring optimal patient care using established techniques.
No formal educational requirements. Registration in CT by the ARRT or NMTCB is required within two years of hire. If in North Dakota, a current license from the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners is necessary.
Operate imaging equipment, assist with procedures, and provide age-appropriate patient interaction. Work includes shift rotations covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with call obligations.
The role is unionized, with a compensation range of $33.01 - $48.57 per hour.
