Job summary

Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards. The role includes patient positioning, image quality assessment, and proper documentation of history and consent.

You may participate in contrast administration and supervision of trainees as needed. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required, with current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles and regulatory requirements.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high quality images.
• Performs proper patient identification and records clinical history accurately.
• Assesses diagnostic images for quality and proper annotation.
• Performs contrast administration with/without power injectors and handles adverse reactions.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Maintains attendance per organizational policies.
