Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with a focus on safety and accuracy. The role involves operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and coordinating with Radiology staff across multiple facilities in the Charlotte area.
Qualified candidates will have ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB, and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire, plus BLS. The position requires flexibility to cover varied shifts and holiday rotations.

Atrium Health Ballantyne Emergency Department, a freestanding emergency department to be operated as a facility of Atrium Health Pineville. The emergency department will include the following: 6 Emergency department rooms open 24/7, including one trauma room, 3-bay Triage area, 2 Observation/Holding bays, Imaging Services to support the ED (CT, Ultrasound and X-ray) Lab and Pharmacy Services located at 16035 Johnston Road, Charlotte, NC.

Our around-the-clock emergency care includes:
CT Technologist I perform procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. Operates CT Scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency. This equipment includes scanner, post processing stations/programs, IV contrast injectors, O2 and suction equipment, patient transport and patient monitoring equipment.
Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required. BLS required.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development. Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation. Frequently may be required to stretch, bend twist, squat or kneel in the daily operation of the CT department. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the day such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, being near moving equipment. Required to use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation.
