Job summary

Wake Radiology is seeking a floating CT Technologist Assistant to support CT Technologists in providing safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging services while delivering excellent patient care.

The role involves floating between Raleigh and surrounding area offices, assisting with patient handling, IVs, and room setup. Hours are 8a-4:30p, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for professional development in a growing imaging group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• One year of medical experience preferred.
• IV experience preferred; Venous Access Training certification within 60 days of hire.
• Experience with EPIC, PACS, or other medical imaging systems preferred.
• Certified Imaging Assistant, CNA, or MA certification preferred.
• Driver's license in good standing.
• Willing to float between Raleigh and surrounding area offices.
• Hours are 8a-4:30p Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient check-in, screening, preparation, positioning, and discharge.
• Verify patient information, orders, and medical history.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions or concerns.
• Start and remove IVs using proper aseptic technique.
• Assist technologists with patient positioning, room setup, cleanup, and stocking.
• Prepare the CT room and maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Communicate delays or schedule changes with the team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a positive, professional, patient-centered environment.

• Assist technologists with patient positioning, room setup, cleanup, and stocking.
• Prepare the CT room and maintain infection control and safety standards.
