Qualifications

• ARRT registration (Radiologic Technologist) required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire.
• Night shift experience with strong patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and physician orders prior to CT examinations.
• Educate patients and families on CT procedures and expectations.
• Obtain and document accurate patient history in the medical record.
• Perform diagnostic CT scans and related patient care using age-appropriate methods.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per protocol.
• Operate CT imaging equipment and perform QC/QA testing.
• Monitor patients during exams for safety and comfort.
• Communicate STAT/urgent requests to the radiologist promptly.
• Maintain a clean, stocked exam room and sanitize equipment between patients.
• Use hospital systems for order verification, schedule review, and PACS transmission.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• 1+ year relevant experience (including experience beyond entry-level radiographer)
• ARRT registration (Radiologic Technologist) required
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire
• Strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and ability to work nights in a fast-paced hospital environment
