Job summary

CornerStone Medical is seeking a CT Technologist (ARRT – CT) in Rowlett, Texas for a travel assignment. The role focuses on high-quality CT imaging, patient comfort, and precise radiation safety protocols in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Expect a 7 on 7 off schedule (Thur-Wed), 1800–0600 shifts with no on-call. The ideal candidate has ARRT CT certification, a Texas MRT license, and at least 5 years of CT experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification is required.
• Texas MRT license is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Minimum 5 years CT experience.
• Solid knowledge of imaging protocols and radiation safety.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety with radiation dose monitoring and control.
• Prepare and position patients for accurate imaging results.
• Utilize iSTAT for creatinine testing when needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
• Support a clean, safe, and efficient imaging environment.
• Deliver a calm, reassuring experience for every patient.
