Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiologic experience.
• 2-4 years CT technologist experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• CT certification or eligibility within six months of hire

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures with appropriate immobilization.
• Verifies patient identification, orders, and contraindications; screens for safety.
• Performs contrast administration and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Communicates procedures clearly to patients and provides post-exam instructions.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver timely results.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures and sterile technique as needed.
• Reviews images for technical accuracy and presents to radiologist.
• Maintains patient history documentation and correlates with imaging studies.
• Performs routine quality control on CT equipment and reports issues.
• Responds to emergencies per facility protocols and maintains organized work area.
• Follows PPE, infection control, and radiology safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance.
• Follows all policies and standards.
