Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures on patients under radiologist supervision. The role requires adhering to pediatric/adult age-appropriate protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT certification (R or T), Florida RT license, CRT, and BLS, with one to two years of CT experience preferred. On-call hours may be required; position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • ARRT (R) or ARRT (T) certification required; CT certification within 18 months of hire.
  • RT FL license and CRT certification required.
  • BLS certification.
  • Associate degree in radiologic technology preferred; CT training/experience preferred.
  • Experience with CT procedures and adherence to radiation safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners following department protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
  • Maintain knowledge of radiologic principles and imaging techniques.
  • Complete documentation and forms accurately (consent, injection, history).
  • Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist radiologist with CT procedures and, when needed, biopsy support.
