Job summary

Aura Health in Oregon is seeking a CT technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures according to physician orders, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort. You will position patients, operate CT equipment, set exposure factors, and optimize images for diagnosis.

Responsibilities also include documenting procedures, verifying patient identity, labeling images correctly, and adhering to radiation safety standards and department policies.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT registration in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
• CT certification within six months.
• State licensure in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification.
• At least one year of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic CT procedures.
• Set exposure factors and optimize images for diagnosis.
• Document procedures, verify patient identity, and label images correctly.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and radiation safety standards.
• Monitor patient status and provide safe patient care.
• Maintain professional conduct, communication, punctuality, and ongoing education.
