Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiological technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certification as Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) by the state Medical Board.
• Advanced venipuncture proficiency required.
• Must possess excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily check-ups and quality control on CT scanners.
• Review requisitions and interview patients for medical history.
• Administer oral and IV contrast and monitor patients during scanning.
• Record patient's history and verify transmission of images to PACS.
