Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Marlborough is seeking a CT Technologist for 36 hours per week on the night shift. This on-site role involves performing CT scans for diverse patient populations, gathering clinical data, and ensuring accurate records and billing.

You will support physicians with interventional exams and ensure images are QC’d and uploaded to PACS for radiologist review. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiology program, ARRT or NMTCB CT certification, and Massachusetts

Performs independently within scope of department policies. Clinically works at the direction of a qualified Radiologist.**I. Major Responsibilities:**1. Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.2. Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.3. Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.4. Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.5. Promptly and properly completes exams, performs QC on images and appropriately sends exams to PACS for the physicians to review.**II. Position Qualifications:**License/Certification/Education:Required:1. Graduate of an accredited radiological program.2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.3. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Preferred:Experience/Skills:Required:1. Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to product optimum results.2.
