Job summary

Akicita Federal is hiring a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, for patients from multiple Native American communities in a mission-driven, 24/7 healthcare environment.

You will operate a Canon Aquilion Prime SP2000 160-slice scanner, verify orders, position patients, ensure safety, and document services in RPMS, EHR, and PACS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Digital Radiography experience.
• Ability to position patients safely and review examination orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations on the Canon Aquilion Prime SP2000 160-slice scanner.
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare/position patients for scans.
• Apply patient-safety and radiation-safety practices.
• Review images for technical quality; perform plain-film or digital radiography as needed.
• Document all services in RPMS, EHR, and PACS.
