Job summary

Riverside Health in Smithfield, Virginia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams, prepare patients, and document procedures in accordance with policy. You will support radiologists, select protocols, and maintain safety and quality using ALARA guidelines.

This role requires 2 years CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and CPR/BLS; weekend and irregular shifts are part of the call rotation in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.

Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT exams on patients as requested by the referring physicians. Performs all CT exams and procedures in accordance with RHS policy and procedures. Performs patient preparation and explanation of exams, responds to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, IV insertions and contrast injections, and completes all associated patient and equipment screening and technical documentation.
