Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a CT Technologist in Indiana who will perform CT scans with high accuracy and independence, following radiologist protocols. You will manage patient flow, verify orders, and ensure image delivery to PACS.

The role requires ARRT CT registration within 6 months, Indiana license, and CPR. Benefits include a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 10% shift differential, with opportunities to train and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or radiography program training; ARRT certification and Indiana X-Ray license.
• Current CPR certification; CT registration required within 6 months.
• 1–2 years radiography experience; CT experience preferred.
• ARRT CT registry to maintain position within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history to ensure proper CT procedures.
• Select technical factors to optimize image quality.
• Evaluate images for quality and adjust as needed.
• Load and set Power Injection factors.
• Explain CT steps to patients.
• Train new CT staff and supervise students.
• Ensure proper charging with accurate exam codes.
• Coordinate patient flow and room readiness.
