The CT Technologist I operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and protocol adherence. Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate results. Essential Functions

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images following protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Verify patient identity, physician orders, and screen for contraindications.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for timely, accurate care.
• Review images for accuracy, present to radiologist, and communicate findings.
• Maintain and perform quality control on CT equipment.
• Document clinical history and correlate with imaging studies.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with policies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience from an accredited radiologic sciences program (required).

Licenses and Certifications
