Job summary

Halifax Health in Florida is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging while caring for patients. The role includes contrast or radiopharmaceutical administration with patient assessment and follow-up.

Candidates should be trained through JRCERT or equivalent, ARRT-registered in more than one modality, licensed to operate Florida imaging equipment, and have 5+ years of radiology experience. PACS experience is preferred and you may supervise students.

Job description

Day (United States of America) CT Technologist This individual would provide care to all patients while producing high quality imaging modalities. They would also provide contrast or radiopharmaceutical administration with patient assessment and follow-up information. Demonstrate all necessary skills and knowledge of section computer and /or equipment technology. Provide backup supervision (coordination) and direction to all radiology sections in the absence of a coordinator. Perform duties of a Level II Radiographer/Technologist when requested. Directly supervise students. Maintain certification according to the State, National and Medical Center regulations. - Must be a graduate of a Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or regionally accredited and approved School of Radiologic Technology. A four year program is preferred. - Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in more than one modality. - Must be licensed by the State of Florida to operate ionizing and non-ionizing imaging equipment according to MQA, Joint Commission and ALARA standards. - Minimum of 5 years experience in a specific Radiologic technology science or area of specialization required. - Experience with the PACS system preferred. - Previous experience in more than one modality is required.
