Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray procedures, including contrast-enhanced CT scans, while ensuring patient comfort and safety in a hospital setting.

The role requires post-graduate experience, ARRT/CT certification as applicable, and the ability to work well with staff. You will be responsible for equipment upkeep and professional communication with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and procedures with contrast agents.
• Monitor patients during complex procedure exams.
• Operate portable X-ray and other X-ray equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues for X-ray and CT.
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients.
• Maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and colleagues.
• Demonstrate proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• CT examinations and procedures that require the use of contrast agents.
• Managing patients during complex procedure exams.
• Use of portable X-Ray machine and other X-Ray equipment.
• Solve minor equipment problems for both X-Ray and CT.
• Lead with empathy: Communicate compassionately & professionally with patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience post-graduation
• RT (R),(CT), (ARRT), and State licensure where necessary.
• Valid Driver’s License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications
