Job summary

Tal Healthcare seeks a qualified CT Technologist to perform advanced CT imaging, ensure diagnostic quality, and support RIS/PACS systems. The role requires ARRT CT certification, state licensure, and a radiologic technology background.

You will collaborate with physicians, monitor safety, and participate in a rotating Saturday schedule across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have strong anatomy knowledge, experience with 3D reconstructions, and a commitment to patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT procedures, and 3D reconstruction techniques.
• Strong understanding of RIS/PACS software applications and integration.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment with proficiency, ensuring high diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless operation of RIS/PACS systems alongside CT hardware and software.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of CT systems, scheduling maintenance with vendors and service technicians as needed.
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians to understand preferences, interpret requests, and ensure proper delivery of images and reports.
• Screen and prepare patients for CT procedures according to contrast and safety guidelines.
• Seek continuous improvement by utilizing feedback to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
• Maintain professionalism and compassion when interacting with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues, fostering a respectful and collaborative environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work at various locations and shifts as required, including rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT procedures, and 3D reconstruction techniques.
• Demonstrable expertise in operating complex CT scanners and associated equipment.
• Strong understanding of RIS/PACS software applications and integration.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting.
• ARRT (RT)(R) certification, CT State License, and CT Certification are mandatory.
• College degree preferred, with relevant radiologic technology education.
