Qualifications

• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Associate's Degree from a Radiology Technologist Program is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex CT imaging procedures per established protocols.
• Position patients, acquire images, archive to PACS, and verify in RIS.
• Administer IV contrast under physician supervision.
• Monitor patients, maintain confidentiality, and ensure radiation safety.
• Coordinate exams, patient transport, and documentation across UCLA Radiology locations.
• May serve as Alternate Lead when assigned.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Medical Director, the CT Technologist performs complex CT imaging procedures, including diagnostic imaging of the human anatomy and vascular structures in accordance with established protocols. Responsibilities include patient positioning and care, image acquisition and archival, PACS verification, 3D post-processing, and administration of IV contrast under physician supervision and applicable policies and regulations.

You will provide safe, compassionate patient care by monitoring patients, communicating with patients and care teams, maintaining confidentiality, practicing radiation safety and infection control, and responding to patient needs including first aid when necessary. You will coordinate exams, patient transport, and clinical communication while maintaining accurate documentation and Radiology Information System records.

The CT technologist will float between UCLA Radiology locations and participate in rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage. May serve in an Alternate Lead capacity when assigned.

Internal applicants will transfer at their active/current career ladder.

Salary Range: $55.38 - $73.00/Hourly
