Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a CT Technologist in Salmon, Idaho. This 13-week contract position offers 40 hours per week with a 4x10-hour weekend shift pattern, Friday through Sunday.

Travel-friendly role with potential extension based on performance and needs of the facility. The CT Technologist will perform CT and X-Ray procedures, ensure imaging quality across all patient ages, and collaborate with radiologists to optimize protocols in a Critical Access Hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certified (or eligible) – CT advanced modality license required.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA).
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Venipuncture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures according to protocol.
• Provide images of optimal diagnostic quality for patients from Neonatal to Geriatric.
• Operate imaging equipment in diagnostic radiology and CT procedures efficiently and effectively.
• Complete quality imaging in a timely manner, meeting STAT and urgent demands.
• Interact with patients to ascertain medical history and provide instructions.

Pay Range: Weekly Gross Pay: $3,200.00 (subject to completion of scheduled hours).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures according to protocol
• Consistently provide images of optimal diagnostic quality on patients from Neonatal to Geriatric
• Operate imaging equipment in diagnostic radiology and CT procedures efficiently and effectively
• Complete quality imaging in a timely manner, organizing work flow to meet STAT and urgent demands
• Interact with patients to ascertain medical history and provide instructions and explanation
• Review patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent
• Screen patients for surgical implants, allergies, etc.
• Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform high-quality scans
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist
• Transfer and properly position patients for examination
• Practice sterile technique and prevent cross contamination

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certified (or eligible upon hire) – CT advanced modality license required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in CT or X-Ray preferred
• Less than 1 year experience accepted – new grads welcome!
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Venipuncture experience preferred
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, and team player
• Holiday coverage required
• 120-mile radius rule: No local candidates – must live at least 120 miles from facility
