Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Renton, WA, seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures with independent judgment. You will operate multi-slice CT scanners, administer contrast, start IVs, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography upon hire.
• Within 1 year: ARRT CT or CNMT certification compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures with independent judgment.
• Operate multi-slice CT scanner and monitor contrast administration.
• Start IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast per physician direction.

Description

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use their radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Required Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program




• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire




• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire




• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire




• Within 1 year of Hire:




• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--




• National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred

Pay Range: $51.26 - $77.94
