Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is seeking a per diem CT Technologist for our Springfield, PA location. You will perform CT procedures and radiologic examinations following physician and radiologist protocols.

The role requires ARRT CT and BLS credentials, a two-year radiologic technology education, three years in diagnostic radiology, and strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; experience with CT and radiation safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• 3 Years experience as a technologist in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Experience performing CT procedures.
• ARRT CT certification and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures following radiologists' protocols.
• Prepares and operates radiographic equipment safely.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines.
• Produces quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation.
• Operates CT procedures and scanners to produce cross sectional images.

Job Description

• Performs with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists.
• Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines.
• Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist.
• Performs CT procedures following the protocols established by the referring physicians or Radiologists.
• Operates CT scanner to produce cross sectional anatomical images of consistent optimal quality.
• Operates CT equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following established safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program (Required)
• 3 Years experience as a technologist in Diagnostic Radiology (Required)
• General Experience and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy (Required)
• General Experience as a CT Scan Technologist (Required)
• License/Certifications ARRT - Amer Reg Radiologic Technologist (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
