Nebraska Medicine is seeking a CT Technologist for the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. This part-time (0.5 FTE) role involves performing CT procedures with a radiologist, delivering high-quality imaging, and supporting teaching and research in a fast-paced radiology department.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, relocation options, and tuition assistance. Candidates must meet ARRT CT certification and Nebraska license requirements and have BLS cardiopulmonary certification.

Qualifications

  • ARRT CT certification in Radiology required or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Nebraska Medical Radiographer License required.
  • BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality CT procedures under radiologist supervision.
  • Contribute to teaching and research related to CT within the department.

Highlights: Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a CT Technologist. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for CT and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work from the Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha, NE. Nebraska Medicine CT department offers radiology technologists the opportunity to work with innovative equipment and software, while providing care to unique patients from around the world. Working in the CT department is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills by being part of an energetic and fast-paced environment providing care to thousands of patients annually. CT Technologist Details

Perform quality computed tomography (CT) procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist, to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging information for use in diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research relating to CT in support of the organizational mission. Demonstrate active involvement in the department.

Required Qualifications
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology required.
  • Proficient with computers/computer systems to include basic navigation and use of email applications required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively required.
  • Ability to multi-task required.
  • Ability to deal with difficult or challenging customer interactions and escalated to management as appropriate required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)(CT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT), in all practice specialty areas, within one year of hire or transfer date required.
  • State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of department orientation required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of department orientation required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Radiology experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of science degree preferred.
  • Training in both CT and Diagnostics preferred.
  • Computed tomography (CT) certification preferred.
