Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team in the United States. You will perform high quality CT exams, monitor patient safety, and administer contrast when needed.

You will guide patients through procedures, respond to physician inquiries, and uphold patient privacy and safety policies across imaging centers, ensuring accurate results and compassionate care for every patient we serve.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT CT certification may be required.
• BLS certification may be required by state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through procedures by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding safeguarding patient property and PHI.
• Safeguards on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including cash and patient information on site or portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.

• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.

• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!
