Job summary

Mercy is seeking a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic CT imaging for radiologists and physicians, and to assist during interventional procedures. The role includes organizing the daily CT schedule, ensuring patient care, and being available on call as needed. A radiography program completion and ARRT eligibility are required.<\/p>

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program.
• Licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Experience: 1+ years or graduate of Bachelor's degree program.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible; ARRT achieved within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologist or physician during interventional procedures.
• Assist radiologist in performance of special CT procedures and related patient care.
• Organize daily schedule; be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift.
• Respond to on-call needs as required and adhere to radiation safety principles.

Overview

Provide diagnostic C.T. scans for interpretation by radiologist and or performing physician in the performance of interventional and special procedures (biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthography and any other such procedures). Assist radiologist in the performance of special C.T. procedures and provide the patient care essential all procedures. Is able to be on call if needed. Apply principles of radiation safety. Able to organize the daily schedule and be a dedicated resource to CT team on shift.

• Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program.
• Certifications: A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, and A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment.
