Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with minimal supervision in the Cat Scan department. The role requires ARRT CT certification and NJ licensure, with orientation programs completed, supporting patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• New Jersey license required.
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures and patient care.
• Conducts other related duties assigned and maintains knowledge of other areas in the department.
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
