Job summary

Sampson Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join the Radiology team. The technologist provides CT imaging services for patients of all ages and supports the Radiologist in diagnosis.

Responsibilities include performing standard X-ray tasks and may assist in operating room as needed. ARRT licensure required with CT specialty; prior CT experience preferred. This is a PRN position with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registered in Radiography.
• ARRT registered in CT.
• Minimum one year CT experience preferred.

• Provide CT imaging services for patients of all ages and support Radiologist in diagnosis.
• Perform standard X‑ray tasks and may assist in operating room as needed.

Description:

The CT Technologist is a registered professional who provides health care related imaging services to patients of all ages through the use of Computed Tomography. These images assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease processes. The CT Technologist's duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards.The CT tech will perform standard x-rays and may assist in covering OR as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
• ARRT registered in Radiography required
• ARRT registered in CT required
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a CT Tech preferred
• General knowledge of other imaging modalities, specifically Diagnostic and CT required.

This is a PRN position.
