Kelly Government Solutions (KGS), a trusted partner supporting federal healthcare programs, is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the team at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential diagnostic imaging services while serving the nation's Veterans in a respected federal healthcare environment.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist will perform a full range of computed tomography examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care, image quality, and compliance with VA and radiology department standards. The selected candidate will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations, including contrast and non-contrast studies.
  • Position patients appropriately and ensure optimal image quality.
  • Follow established protocols for radiation safety and patient care.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide education regarding exams.
  • Administer and monitor contrast studies as appropriate.
  • Utilize PACS and electronic medical record systems for documentation and image management.
  • Maintain quality control standards and monitor equipment performance.
  • Assist with specialized CT procedures and interventions as required.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and completely.
Qualifications

Required

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Advanced ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Full, unrestricted license where applicable.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to successfully complete VA credentialing and background screening requirements.
Preferred
  • Three or more years of CT experience in a hospital or acute care environment.
  • Experience performing:
  • CT Abdomen and Pelvis
  • CT Chest
  • CT Head and Neck
  • CT Spine Exams
  • CT-Guided Procedures and Biopsies
  • Experience working with 128-slice CT scanners.
  • Knowledge of PACS and digital imaging systems.
Schedule
  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday
  • Shift hours determined by department needs
  • Occasional on-call, holiday, evening, or callback coverage may be required
