CT Technologist - $10,000 Sign-on Bonus!!

$40.89 - $60.09 an hour - Full-Time Evenings, 40 hours per week
*Range includes evening differential.

* This position is a floating position between the Foothills campus and the Community Medical Center.

Boulder Community Health seeks a skilled CT Technologist/Radiologic Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and perform CT (Computed Tomography) / DX (Diagnostic Radiological) studies. As a proficient communicator, you will serve as a problem-solving leader and organizer, fostering effective collaboration with staff. Qualifications:
  • Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT) for Radiology Technology
  • Completion of CT training (structured or on the job)
  • BLS by the end of the conditional period
  • Active Registered Technologist (ARRT) for CT, or CT registered within:
    • 2 years from hire/transfer date for trainee, or
    • 18 months from hire/transfer date for registry eligible staff
  • 1-year field experience at Boulder Community Hospital preferred
  • Intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and a basic understanding of human physiology
  • Able to adapt exam routines and techniques when necessary to optimize quality of exams
  • Ability to work closely with other Radiology Technologists and physicians
  • Ability to perform venipuncture
  • Knowledge of sterile preparations and procedures
Responsibilities:
  • Performs quality patient care
  • Orient new staff
  • Enforces policies and procedures
  • QA/QC activities
  • Works toward goal of quality improvement
  • Schedules patients
  • Coordinates clinical information and previous testing to determine if additional views need to be obtained
  • Monitors and cleans equipment and reports equipment problems to the Supervisor
  • Multi Comp CT tech-perform CT and X-ray exams for in-house and ED patients
