Job summary

Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, IN is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging including CT, radiography, mammography and more. You will be the primary contact for patients and ensure imaging needs are met with high quality service.

Qualifications

• State licensure required for radiologic technologist practice.
• Fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• Valid CPR/BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Serve as the primary contact for patients and ensure imaging needs are met.
• Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
• Assist in maintaining department’s Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversee radiology area and staff in absence of Manager/Director.
• Maintain supplies and ensure imaging equipment is operational.
• Promote teamwork and deliver excellent customer service.
• Schedule patients for assigned sub-departments.
• Process and transmit images to PACS

Overview

CT Technologist
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, Radiography, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and other specialized exams according to department protocols. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and other customers, delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
• Proficient computer skills.
