Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Monongahela, PA. The CT Tech will operate scanners, prepare patients, maintain equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely diagnostic services.

The role requires at least one year of CT experience and a valid radiology license, with a focus on safety, quality imaging, and adherence to hospital policies. Excellent communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT TechnologistValid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations

Responsibilities

• The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
• They prepare patients for the procedure, position patients with considerations for safety and image accuracy, ensure proper imaging protocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
• CT Techs also maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.

Physical and Technical Requirements

• Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Technical/Motor Skills – Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
• Mental Requirements – Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
• Sensory – Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate.
