Job summary

AdventHealth in Land O Lakes, FL is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform CT procedures and operate imaging equipment in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will follow infection control standards, ensure patient safety, document accurately in EMR and PACS, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. A CT training program and ARRT-CT certification are preferred, with Florida licensure required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or higher in radiologic sciences.
• Florida licensure and appropriate ARRT credentials.
• CT training program completion preferred.

Job Description:

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
