Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams using state-of-the-art CT systems. You will prepare patients, follow protocols, and document results.

You will also ensure radiation safety, educate patients and colleagues, and maintain image quality while adhering to infection control standards in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and CT protocols; experience operating CT systems.
• Ability to review images, coordinate with care teams, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency and prepare patients for CT exams.
• Execute exams per established protocols and review image quality.

Key duties

• maintaining ARRT or modality-specific competency, preparing and identifying patients, executing exams per protocols, reviewing image quality, adhering to radiation safety, and ensuring accurate documentation.
• The role involves instructing students and other staff, providing patient education, practicing infection control, and operating CT systems to produce high-quality images.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid ARRT certification, state licensure, BLS certification, strong knowledge of anatomy, equipment operation, image evaluation, contrast protocols, teamwork, communication, and task prioritization.

Physical requirements

• Ability to read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift, assist with patient transfers, and stand for extended periods.
