Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams and provide patient care across all age groups. The role includes advanced imaging such as Cardiac and Vascular CT, under radiologist supervision, with emphasis on quality and safety.

Minimum education is AMA-approved Radiologic Technology; requires ARRT CT registration and BLS. Two years of CT experience preferred. Schedule includes Fri, Sat, Sun 7pm–7:30am, on-site at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience, with one year in CT.
• Registered by ARRT in CT; CT certification required.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) examinations under supervision, following prescribed standards.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Perform advanced CT imaging, including Cardiac and Vascular CT.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must have a minimum of two (2) years? experience, with one year in CT.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT).
Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
