Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a CT Technologist to perform all required CT examinations, including angiography, on a weekend shift. The position offers a $3,750 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include administering CT contrast, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality images for radiologists. ARRT CT Registry preferred; state licensure required with registry eligibility if needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry preferred; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year experience in CAT Scan Technologist capacity preferred.
• State licensure as Radiographer; registry-eligible candidates have 1 year from hire date to provide licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations including angiography as part of a cohesive team.
• Apply radiation safety, infection control, and department policies.
• Assess patient condition, perform CT contrast injections, and ensure safety.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate data to the radiologist.

What You Will Do

• Function as part of a cohesive team; selects the appropriate software/hardware and equipment imaging techniques.
• Knowledge of radiation safety & protection along with appropriate infection control policies implemented by the department and hospital.
• Ability to assess patient’s condition performs intravenous injections of CT contrast and ensures patient safety through proper use of equipment.
• Ability to review each examination for technical accuracy, presents competed exams to radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), CT Scan Registry preferred. Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: 1-year experience working in a CAT Scan Technologist capacity preferred.
• Certification: State licensure as a Radiographer. Registry eligible candidates have one year from date of hire to provide supporting documentation that they have passed the licensure exam.
